FRESH FOOD

There are many ways to get rid of the existing cellulite, as for example excercising more, and trying to avoid alcohol and cigarettes, but the key issue is to improve your eating habits. We have gathered here some tips and foods that help you to remove the toxins from your body and fight celllulite.

Eat fresh food
Try to increase the amount of fresh vegetables and fruits in your diet, because these are the best anti-cellulite foods. The very best alkalising foods are lemon, watermelon, cantaloupe, lime, mango, parsley, papaya, asparagus and seaweeds. If you mainly focus on enjoying the fresh foods as vegetables, fruits and berries, you are on the right track. Eat your berries either fresh, or use frozen or freeze-dried versions, because these are the best options with the highest content of nutrients.
Fresh food should make up the largest part of your diet, so try to lower the amount of meat, white flour and sugar. Avoid all processed foods, especially the carbonated soft drinks and the foods containing artificial sweeteners. Lower the amount of dairy products, because dairy foods are generally acid forming. If you wish to use milk products, choose the products that are made of unpasteurized and non-homogenized milk. Try to keep away from hot or caffeinated drinks as well.

Eat more of the healthy fats
To lose fat, you have to eat more of the healthy fats, which may help with weight loss and eliminate cellulite. Good choices are seeds, nuts, avocados and olive oil, not to forget the freeze-dried acai berry powders, which are packed with healthy fats.

Add omega-3 fatty acids to your diet
Easiest way to consume omega-3's is to eat wild fish as salmon, sardines, anchovies and herring, which all contain also many other nutrients. Avoid farmed salmon, because those are filled with toxins. Add walnuts, chia seeds, flaxseeds, hemp seeds and egg yolks in your diet. Avoid omega-3 fish oil supplements, because there are only few good ones available.

Use alkalising salt
Swap your table salt for alkalising Himalayan crystal salt or high-quality sea salt. These salts are not only alkalising, but also packed with minerals. Refined table salt on the contrary, is highly acidic and removes minerals from your body. Normal table salt also dehydrates your body and accumulates cellulite.

Add more vitamin C in your diet
Vitamin C plays a key role in the production of collagen in your body, so it may help to strengthen the connective tissue of your skin, which can lead to less cellulite. Good souces for vitamin C are fresh fruits, berries and vegetables, such as kiwis, citrus fruits, bilberries, bell peppers and broccoli. The best sources are high end berry powders, such as acerola, camu camu and amla, which need to be freeze-dried, not spray-dried (exposed to high temperatures). Please notice, that only the freeze-dried versions are packed with high amounts of vitamin C.

Drink more water
Enjoy plenty of water to flush out toxins that may cause the build-up of cellulite. An insufficient supply of water may lead to water retention as the body retains water to compensate, increasing the appearance of cellulite. Water strengthens also collagen, plus helps to reduce the cellulite and excess fat.
